CALL FOR ARTISTS
Stay Human! Utopias and Dystopias in the Digital Age
DEADLINE: OCTOBER 15, 2025
Spazio Berlendis, Cannaregio 6301, Venice
Marignana Arte is pleased to announce the first edition of the Premio Berlendis, established with the aim of supporting and promoting the work of young contemporary artists.
The open call, titled Stay Human! Utopias and Dystopias in the Digital Age, is open to artists of all nationalities, residing or based in Italy, between the ages of 18 and 40. Participants are invited to reflect on the profound changes of our time, shaped by the digital revolution, and to submit works that explore the concept of “progress” through a critical and original lens, considering multiple perspectives.
A jury composed of professionals from the art world will select 25 finalists, whose works will be exhibited at Spazio Berlendis from February 21 to March 29, 2026.
During the exhibition, three exhibition prizes will be awarded: a solo show at Marignana Project, a group show at SPARC*, both scheduled between January and February 2027, and a third exhibition — either solo or group — at the 10 & zero uno gallery, planned between late 2026 and early 2027.
Applications must be submitted via email (premio@spazioberlendis.it), following the instructions provided in the official guidelines and within the call itself.
