Marignana Arte

Born from a shared sensibility and a deep love for both art and Venice, Emanuela Fadalti and Matilde Cadenti founded Marignana Arte in 2013. Over the years, it has become a key presence in the city’s cultural landscape, offering a diverse and original program across four distinct venues.

Marignana Arte began as a contemporary art gallery in the Dorsoduro district, on Rio Terà dei Catecumeni, strategically located between the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the Pinault Foundation, a key location for contemporary art in Venice. Alongside the main gallery, Marignana Project focuses on emerging talents and innovative practices in visual and applied arts.

In 2021, the project expanded with Spazio Berlendis in Cannaregio, a restored historical carpentry workshop that now hosts exhibitions, artist residencies, concerts, and cultural events. Since 2025, through Spazio Berlendis, Marignana Arte has promoted Berlendis Venice Art Prize and Berlendis Venice Residency, two initiatives dedicated to supporting contemporary artistic research, production, and exchange in Venice.

Completing the network is Marignana Arte Studio in Mogliano Veneto, a creative lab and meeting place that supports artistic research and showcases works from past exhibitions.

Together, these spaces reflect Marignana Arte’s commitment to promoting contemporary art through a dynamic, multi-venue approach rooted in creativity and innovation.
