Serena Fineschi is among the artists taking in part in the collective project Assistere il buio, which involves the creation of a permanent installation by several contemporary artists, invited to interact with seventeen public lighting lanterns in the historic center of the city of Siena. Assistere il buio stems from the desire to establish a dialogue between light and shadow—eternal opposites—but also to map out a new geography of the city that invites a more intimate and unexpected gaze.
