Maurizio Pellegrin
In conjunction with the exhibition at the Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna of Ca’Pesaro in Venice, Marignana Project wants to pay homage to Maurizio Pellegrin – artist with whom the gallery has been collaborating since 2015 – with a small exhibition of works on paper.
Marignana Project will feature three different series of works on paper organised around the concept of the “fragment”: collages from the late 1980s, photocollages made between 2006 and 2008, and more recent cyanotypes from 2021. The fragments are brought together and organised into new hierarchical structures in order to produce new relationships, new energies, different meanings and symbols and to speak to the viewer through a new form of communication. The exhibition is accompanied by a text by philosopher Jonathan Molinari.
