Violaine Vieillefond
From March 21 to April 12, 2025 Marignana Project is hosting Violaine Vieillefond’s solo exhibition entitled Ninfae. The multimedia exhibition explores the deep connection between art and nature and presents the four episodes that make up the cycle of works created by the French artist for the exhibition: Nereids and Dryads, Oreads, Ophelia, and Naiads. Similar to the mythological tales about the nymphs, protectors of nature, Violaine Vieillefond’s cycle is conceived as a story, or rather an allegory, in four acts, recounting the beauty and mystery of nature and, in particular, of the element of water, through which she finds nourishment for her research.
