Opiemme
From January 31 to May 9, 2026, Marignana Gallery is hosting Opiemme’s solo exhibition Senza Bandiere V.3.0. Divide et impera.
Opiemme’s works come from the meeting of words and images, where painting and poetry come together as a way to spark critical thinking. On maps, nautical charts, and the pages of books and newspapers, the artist adds simple yet powerful words and phrases that invite everyone to pause and reflect.
Featuring works from the past fifteen years, the exhibition invites a deep and timely reflection on coexistence, shared responsibility, and the need to build a more empathetic and open dialogue among people.
The exhibition will be accompanied by two publications: one created specifically for the show, featuring texts by Tommaso Evangelista and Jonathan Molinari, and another released in November 2025 — Critica della Ragion Progressiva — in which the aphorisms of Walter Loddi enter into dialogue with Opiemme’s works.
