Gallery Weekend in Venice

Along with exhibitions in some of the main cultural institutions of the Venetian lagoon, Gallery Weekend, organised by Venice Galleries View, returns for another three-day program of inaugurations and special opening hours in affiliated contemporary art galleries.
From Friday March 22nd through Sunday 24th, Venice will be animated by a series of special events, with the aim to highlight the strong bonds of the participating galleries of Venice Galleries View, which have woven a network of partnerships in order to enhance the cultural landscape as well as to sustain the art market in Venice.
With openings of new exhibitions, special events and Sunday openings, Gallery Weekend aims to offer the public a cultural extravaganza in the name of contemporary art, a great opportunity to get to know the work that the galleries carry out throughout the year, as well as to promote culture and spread work by the artists they support.
In concomitanza con i vernissages di alcune delle principali istituzioni della città lagunare, torna il Gallery Weekend di Venice Galleries View: inaugurazioni e aperture straordinarie nelle gallerie d’arte contemporanea facenti parte del circuito.
A partire da venerdì sera 22 marzo fino a domenica 24, il territorio veneziano sarà animato da una serie di eventi che intendono ancora una volta mettere in evidenza il forte legame tra le gallerie di Venice Galleries View, le quali hanno intessuto una rete di relazioni al fine di valorizzare la proposta culturale e sostenere il mercato dell’arte a Venezia.
Con inaugurazioni di nuove mostre e aperture speciali domenicali, il Gallery Weekend intende offrire al pubblico un vivace fine settimana all’insegna dell’arte contemporanea: un’occasione per conoscere a fondo il lavoro che, durante tutto l’anno, le gallerie continuano a portare avanti per promuovere la cultura e diffondere l’arte degli artisti che sostengono.
